International

In an increasingly globalised world, people who have notched up work experience abroad are very much in demand. International experience facilitates vocational and personal further development, an improved knowledge of foreign languages, and an understanding of other cultures, not to mention the forging of degree-related and vocation-relevant international contacts.

We encourage student mobility in the form of study visits and work placements. Furthermore, due to the strong emphasis placed on extra-occupational degree programmes for working professionals, we also provide alternative mobility opportunities to students who are unable to spend at least 3 months abroad: summer schools, study trips and language trips.

Study Trip

“A clever person finds the best education in travel” (Johan Wolfgang von Goethe, 1749 – 1832)

In the course of their studies, students have the opportunity to take part in a study trip. The degree programme selects the destination in consultation with its students and in compliance with the following conditions: The desired university should be located in Europe and be a CAMPUS 02 partner university or can become one.

The degree programme’s Study Trip 2017 to Žilina with students of all semesters took place from 30 April to 4 May 2017.

Language Trip

Each year CAMPUS 02 invites all students to participate in a language trip, for which a maximum of 24 places are available. This mobility measure is subsidised by our very own grant.

More information can be found here

Summer Schools

CAMPUS 02 supports its students’ participation in selected summer schools by means of its own grant (for detailed information, please consult the Guidelines for Mobility Grants.

Every student is given the opportunity to take part in a summer school abroad during the summer holidays. In summer schools, students participate in course units, establish new contacts and friendships and travel foreign countries at the same time. If course units correspond to the ones of CAMPUs 02’s curriculum, students can apply for ECTS credits accreditation before going abroad

Internship abroad or study abroad

In the course of the Bachelor Degree Programme in Financial Accounting & Management Accounting, students have the chance to undertake an internship in the 6th semester at home or abroad. Since university of applied sciences’ curriculums and course unit times are predefined, it can be difficult for students to study a semester abroad. CAMPUS 02 recommends taking the opportunity of doing an internship abroad.

Studying or doing an internship abroad is a valuable opportunity for students to change perspectives, grow with new tasks, acquire foreign language skills or to immerse in a foreign culture. During your time abroad, you will make friends, maybe even for a lifetime. These new friendships do not just represent a valuable private network, but also a professional and international one.

For more information on internships abroad and possible financial support and study grants please approach the person responsible at the International Office.

Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is currently the most comprehensive scholarship programme for studying and training abroad. As an educational programme of the EU it supports people of all ages across Europe looking for promotional learning opportunities. With Erasmus+ students can study at a European institution of higher education for 3 to 12 months without having to lose regular study time or pay study fees. In a 2 to 12 months Erasmus+ internship, interns and trainees are given the unique opportunity to acquire new specialist knowledge and professional competences as well as the skills involved with adapting to new surroundings. Erasmus+ also offers the opportunity to hone language skills, acquire intercultural competences, establish relations with higher education institutions, companies and make new friends from all around Europe.
