Even though the Bachelor’s is designed as a full-time degree programme, it allows students to engage in professional activities alongside their studies as it is structured into course blocks, which optionally take place between Monday and Wednesday, including an intensive week in each semester.
Course units take place on Mondays from 8:00 to 16:00 as well as on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 13:45 to 21:00. The timetable is organised within these periods. The number of hours and their position on the timetable can vary from semester to semester. This organisational form allows students to engage in an occupation of up to 30 hours per week.

The work-friendly Bachelor degree programme provides comprehensive training in a range of different technical fields — from data science and informatics to management. Course units focussing on personal skills and language competency round off the degree programme.
What is one of the biggest benefits the degree programme has to offer? Students stay in touch with the labour market and can even expand their network through contact with other students working in different sectors. It is the mixture between sought-after expertise for the future and professional networking opportunities that make this degree programme so attractive.
Note: The Bachelor Degree Programme in Business Data Science is predominantly held in German. Therefore the application process is also done in German.
