“Austria is a welcoming, friendly country with breathtaking landscapes! Styria is a proud and historical state with traditional, premium quality products; Graz is lively, cheerful and charming city; CAMPUS 02 is a university that can’t be even measured in words but I try: it is a place where I felt that learning is important and it is a place where I got back my fire to learn! I discovered that the diversity of different learning techniques combined with theory, practical learning and sincerely motivated teachers is what makes CAMPUS 02 education brilliant.I hope my future will cross paths with Austria and CAMPUS 02 some day again”.
Elina Aattela, incoming student in summer semester 2017

„After returning home I once more realised what a great experience my semester in Graz has been! Besides meeting very nice and friendly people – and making friends with them – I was fortunate to attend interesting and eye-opening lectures at CAMPUS 02. Having the opportunity to choose from the whole range of lectures was simply fantastic. In the beautiful city of Graz I felt at ease quickly. It is a super place to discover by bike and there were a lot of cool events during my stay. And, you can easily visit other countries such as Slovenia, Croatia or Italy during your stay. Make the most of it!“

Do you want to broaden your horizon and use the summer time actively to combine studies and pleasure? A summer school is the ideal opportunity to do so!
„In the summer of 2015 I have attended a summer school at the Universidad de Alicante. The decision to take a course in ‚International Marketing and Trade‘ was perfect! Not only topics such as ‘Marketing Entry Strategies’, ‘Intercultural Management’ or ‘Challenges in International Marketing’ were addressed, but also a lot of company visits took place which provided us with a better insight into Spanish companies. Awesome excursions and leisure activities gave us the opportunity to get to know each other better and to make friends. Alicante is an amazing town which offers everything you can think of: Beach, famous attractions and fun. I am very glad that I have selected a summer school in Alicante – the combination between high quality courses on university level and amazing leisure activities was just perfect for me!“

„Linnaeus University Summer Academy offers 12 courses in different areas. Courses are delivered in English and participation is free of charge for EU citizens! I have selected the course on ‚International Business Simulations‘ which turned out to be the optimal choice for me! In this course we had the chance to participate in a business simulation: we had to manage a company, whilst real economic events were simulated. In this way we have researched international markets, developed marketing entry strategies, created turnover and managed people. I could beneft a lot from this and I took home plenty of new knowledge. And what’s more, Kalmar is a very nice town with a special flair: Life music in the evenings, a great city festival and a gorgeous beach. What else do you need!“

Internship abroad? Gathering experiences, improving your own language skills and acquiring intercultural competences in the business world – all this makes an internship abroad interesting. And on top of that, it adds value to our graduates on the labour market compared to graduates from other higher education institutes.
“An internship abroad offers the optimal opportunity to leave familiar surroundings and to get to know new countries and cities. It enables you to meet new people, get into contact with them and make new friends In addition to that, during my internship at ProSiebenSAT.1 I could gather valuable experiences in the media sector and I got also insight into a very interesting enterprise. I definitely had an unforgettable time and I can highly recommend an internhsip abroad.”

“Besides the improvement of technical competences and English language skills, my internship has highly supported my own personal development. It opened up my horizon and helped me realising the countless opportunities for future job decisions which today’s world may offer …for me “open-mindedness” is not only a term, but has become an attitude.“
