Master Degree Programme in
Digital Marketing Management

Study the future!

Societies and their markets are experiencing profound changes due to new media. The resulting communication channels and the availability of information have pervaded our daily lives. Companies and consumers are reacting to this dynamic environment and are required to position themselves, not only on social networks such as Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter, but to also and simultaneously integrate themselves using conventional marketing channels. This opens up new horizons for marketers and innovative platforms enable companies to actively employ previously non-existent touchpoints to current and potential customers.

The course contents of the 4-semester Master degree programme are aimed at those who are already enthusiastic about marketing (traditional or digital). A further focus is on business management training with a strong emphasis on practical skills for the competence-oriented use of digital channels. The extra-occupational degree programme creates a deep understanding of digital transformation and data management. It shows the role that marketing plays in this change process. In addition, the graduates are prepared for leading positions in core areas of management and receive training in leadership-relevant social competence.

This is achieved through web sites or social media in combination with classic marketing channels, in particular via tasks such as

  • the continuous execution of relevant analyses (marketing and analytics)
  • the development of suitable strategies
  • the ability to filter data and adequately appeal to the relevant target group(s)
  • the generation of leads and the associated increase in the conversion rate and customer retention.
