R&D Award 2021

Over the past two years, various R&D projects have been undertaken at CAMPUS 02 in a variety of different areas. From the multitude of these projects, every 2 years a selection is made for the presentation of the internal R&D Award of CAMPUS 02.

Best R&D project 2019-2021: FRIDAR

FRIDAR – Frugal innovation through authentic regional resources

The evaluation of the projects was carried out with the participation of 3 external jury members, who unanimously considered the use of structured innovation for regional development as particularly interesting and exciting. Furthermore, the sustainable benefit was rated highly, as the model is also suitable to be applied to other Austrian regions. The cooperation between science, regional management and subsequently regional enterprises was also rated positively in this combination.

In addition to the symbolic prize, the project team will receive 2,000 euros for teambuilding activities.
