Protecting your data is of utmost importance to us. Our privacy statements for different groups of data subjects offer a brief overview of the personal data we collect and what it is used for.
We, CAMPUS 02 University of Applied Sciences (abbr. CAMPUS 02), Körblergasse 126, 8010 Graz, conduct surveys as part of our teaching and research activities.
In these surveys no personal data is collected, but you may be asked about your habits and attitudes and demographic information may be requested. It is not required to state your name or to register for online surveys in order to participate. This is why it is not possible to draw conclusions about individuals or to identify you or any other participants.
This data processing is carried out in the context of scientific research on the basis of a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit f General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with Art. 89 para. 1 GDPR and Art. 2 f para. 5 FOG (Forschungsorganisationsgesetz – Research Organisation Act).
The survey results and your answers will be deleted after 10 years according to § 2 f Abs 3 Ziffer 1 FOG (Forschungsorganisationsgesetz – Research Organisation Act).
Your personal data will be treated confidentially and will only be processed internally by staff, lecturers and students of CAMPUS 02.
However, data processors who have been commissioned by us can also process data for the purposes mentioned, if they can ensure adequate data security. For example, in cases where support is required, external IT service providers can see and process data.
We use the cloud service “Unipark” from the company Questback to conduct online surveys. Further information on data processing can be found in Questback’s privacy statement (https://www.questback.com/data-privacy/).
Your answers or the results of the survey will only be forwarded in aggregated and pseudonymised form to project partners, clients and funding bodies. This data will not be used for any other purpose and we assure you that this data will not be passed on to third parties.
Please note that we will update this privacy statement from time to time (e.g. due to law amendments, usage of new technology, new study opportunities). We recommend that you regularly check it for updates.
In general, you have right of access, the right to rectification, to erasure, to restrict, to data portability, to withdraw and to object.
