Bachelor Degree Programme in
Financial Accounting & Management Accounting

Financial accounting & management accounting are the basis for success in business. To be able to be successful, a broad qualification profile is required. While cost accounting and calculation orient towards the status quo, and general accounting and financial statements precisely process the past, management accounting operates in a forward-looking way: Management accounting is about strategically developing success competences and using them in an operational manner. The Bachelor’s prepares you for successfully completing operational tasks in the core areas of financial accounting and management accounting.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL LIFE DIRECTLY CONNECTED

Financial accounting & management accounting is a professional field that requires in-depth knowledge to recognise its diverse and challenging nature. The ones who have a school-leaving certificate or accounting diploma from WIFI know that accounting offers many interesting tasks.

The high demand for academically qualified graduates from CAMPUS 02’s Financial Accounting & Management Accounting in companies from all industries proves that the content orientation of the degree programme is more than meeting the demands of successful businesses. For example, graduates work in management accounting, tax and business consulting, auditing, internal revision and other responsible positions in the accounting department of companies. Having received extensive and practice- oriented training, graduates are not limited to working in one business field, but are demanded both at home and abroad in a number of specialist fields, industries and all types of companies and institutions.

This is due to the fact that business success and an efficient company organisation are not based on luck or coincidence, but on ideal strategic planning, leadership skills and state-of-the-art knowledge about processes in management accounting and business administration.

Personal Development Internship

During this degree programme in Financial Accounting & Management Accounting, which has a business administration orientation, students acquire the necessary know-how, starting with the fundamentals of both disciplines. That knowledge is then further developed through a specialisation in either financial accounting and taxation or management accounting and corporate finance. In addition, projects with companies from the industry present students with the opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt. To take into account the international aspect, one third of the classes are held in English. To support foreign-language skills, students are given business English training in the first four semesters before sitting the BEC Vantage examination in the 4th semester.
