Bachelor Degree Programme in
Innovation Management

A brainwave, a brilliant idea – turn it into a success story. Companies constantly need innovations since they are a key success factor and give them advantage over their competition. Still, even the very best of ideas can only become a successful innovation if customer needs and market changes are taken into account. That’s why it is extremely important for companies to employ business engineers with systematic innovation skills.

Make a Career with Innovation Management

Imagine a world full of businesses that do the same thing. We would still listen to music with heavy and clunky CD players instead of walking around hands free in the streets with a light, portable and small iPod. We would still read maps on road trips instead of being guided by a navigation system. Or even simpler: We would choose our favourite chocolate from a small selection of tastes, shapes and packaging sizes. Today’s range of offers, handy inventions and facilitations of everyday life are based on ideas that innovation managers realised. Well-known brands for instance, have known for a long time that innovation leads to a competitive edge. In contrast to the world we just imagined, today’s companies, regardless of size, rely on innovation management and its people.

FIELDS OF ACTIVITY

Our Bachelor graduates work in innovation, production, quality, development, software, purchase and sales. These activities are performed in the following fields:

  • Innovation Management
  • Product Management
  • Project Management
  • Quality Management
  • Development
  • Software
  • Purchasing
  • Sales

Views & Voices

Right after graduating from school, I applied for the extra-occupational Bachelor degree programme without having a professional occupation. I am gaining practical experience through a variety of projects throughout my studies.
Marijana Skoro

With the degree programme I could significantly expand my horizons. Besides the training in technical fundamentals, I particularly regarded the business and innovation-specific course units as highly important.
Harald Petschnik
