Innovation Management
Turn a flash of genius, a brilliant idea into success! As essential success factors, new innovations are constantly needed in businesses in order to gain a competitive edge. The best idea however, can only become a successful innovation if customer needs and market changes are considered. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly important for companies to employ business engineers that have systematic innovation skills.
Automation Technology
Automation technology works at the interface between electronics, informatics, mechanical engineering and business. The challenge when automating technical processes is to produce an optimum mix between mostly conflicting aspects of time, cost, quality, resources and the environment. Here it is important to consider the whole system instead of optimising individual components independently from one another. Modular solutions are therefore becoming increasingly more important.
Information Technologies & Business Informatics
One thing is certain: There is a lack of business informaticians, yet the demand in business continues to grow. In an increasingly complex professional world, specialising in only one field is no longer advantageous. Therefore, business informatics is becoming more important as the link between business and informatics.

Facebook page "FHCAMPUS02.INNO"The world was and will always be changing. What might seem obvious today was unimaginable a few years ago. What might seem impossible today will be taken for granted tomorrow. Behind these developments are always innovative and visionary people that recognise current consumer and future market needs. This is why Amazon turned from an online book shop into a global virtual shopping centre. For instance, Amazon now sells more drills than DIY stores.
Amazon is only one example, since the majority of successful companies build on innovation. To become successful, companies require senior managers that work together with the Executive Board to control development. Competences in innovation, leadership, business development and innovation-oriented business development are much in demand. Master graduates meet these demands, recognise and evaluate consumer trends and new technologies and are able to manage changes and turn a whole organisation into an innovative-oriented business.
Every year during the Master graduation ceremony, CAMPUS 02 inquires which positions the graduates have and in which professional fields they work in after graduation. Our master graduates work in the following areas:
For me, new ways of thinking, an open and future-oriented perspective and networking with innovation managers from other fields are essential success factors that are all communicated in the degree programme.
Innovation is more than just the latest buzzword. I am convinced that the Master Degree Programme will open doors for me to further successes and will allow me to be even more of a co-designer of the company’s future.
Through practice-oriented training, I could immediately put the acquired knowledge into practice. Together with the company’s team we developed innovative services and new business models.
