Enactment by the National Assembly of the Federal Law on Degree Programmes of universities of applied sciences

Graduation of the first graduates from the University of Applied Sciences for Working Professionals   

  • 26 Automation Technology graduates and 41 Marketing graduates were presented with their degrees by the President of the Council of Universities of Applied Sciences
  • First graduation ceremony in Austria at which only working professionals graduated

 

Launch of the third University of Applied Sciences’ degree programme in winter semester 00/01

  • Degree Programme in IT Technologies & IT Marketing (extra-occupational programme for working professionals) accredited by the Council of Universities of Applied Sciences. The degree programme got underway with 36 (+3) students selected from amongst 110 applicants

 

Submission of the fourth University of Applied Sciences’ degree programme

  • In response to needs expressed by the job market, the Degree Programme in Financial Accounting & Management Accounting was submitted for accreditation by the Council of Universities of Applied Sciences

Degree Programme in Marketing introduced as a full-time course in winter semester 01/02

 

Launch of the brand CAMPUS 02 – University of Applied Sciences’ Degree Programmes for industry

  • Financial Accounting & Management Accounting (extra-occupational and full-time): The degree programme accredited by the Council of Universities of Applied Sciences was launched with 60 (+7) students selected from among 151 applicants

 

Submission of Degree Programme in Innovation Management for accreditation by the Council of Universities of Applied Sciences

 

Executive Board submits a request to its partner, the Styria Economic Chamber, for infrastructural expansion – second building extension phase – on the Zusertal site

 

 

Decision taken by the National Assembly to implement the Bologna Declaration in the sector of Universities of Applied Sciences in Austria  

 

Preparations began for the implementation of a quality management system in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2000 and an institution evaluation programme as instructed by the Council of Universities of Applied Sciences

  • Building licence issued by the City of Graz further to the decision of 26th November 2003

 

Fourth graduation ceremony of further academic year groups of the Degree Programmes in Automation Technology and Marketing

  • A total of 311 working professionals graduated

 

Certification of the quality management system

  • In compliance with EN ISO 9001:2000
  • Second university of applied sciences in Austria to receive certification with an implemented quality management system

Introduction of the fifth degree programme

    The Council of Universities of Applied Sciences approves the new Degree Programme in Innovation Management

The project “Unmanned transport system for the C-part management in automotive production” of the Degree Programme in Automation Technology has been awarded as best R&D project, 2015-2017.

In cooperation with MAGNA Steyr, an autonomous transport system, perfectly adapted to the needs of flexible production in automotive engineering has been developed and prototypically realised.

Second presentation of the CAMPUS 02 R&D price, October 2019

The project “Insolvency prophylaxis for small businesses” of the Degree Programme in Financial Accounting & Management Accounting  has been awarded as best R&D project, 2017-2019.

Based on the data on insolvency of the Credit Relief Association (Kreditschutzverband1870), a tool has been developed that enables business monitoring especially for small businesses in order to show bankruptcy risks at an early stage.

Corona pandemic: Shift of all classes to the blended learning mode in March 2020 and again in October 2020. Students are very satisfied and put CAMPUS 02 to the second place in Austria in a survey performed by StudoApp.

 

Re-election of the management team in June 2020

 

Allocation of 25 study places for the work friendly Bachelor Degree Programme  in Smart Automation by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (bmwfw), July 2020.

Start: winter semester 2021

 

Austria’s first drive-in graduation ceremony took place successfully in September 2020. In November, this was followed by the PR Panther award in the category science.
