Accreditations of our degree programmes

In Austria, degree programmes of universities of applied sciences must be accredited prior to their commencement according to the University of Applied Sciences Studies Act (FHG) and Act on Quality Assurance in Higher Education (HS-QSG). The accreditation process involves proving the demand for and acceptance of the degree programme in question as well as a development team that designs the degree programme and describes its course units in detail. A team of experts check whether the prerequisites have been met in compliance with the accreditation regulations for universities of applied sciences of the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria). Accreditation status is granted by the board of AQ Austria.

It is required that results from accreditation procedures that have been carried out since March 2012 are published.
